Has ON/OFF switch for using lamp as a reading light. Connected to a lamp could be preset at random times for security purposes. Auto snooze features. Large control buttons. Plus - Telephone jacks* (line-1 and line-2) allows you to also be notified of landline or video-phone (VP) phone calls while you sleep.
